Inspired by natural migratory patterns, this vertical short is an abstract meditation on my family's diasporic movements. It explores a flocking movement within a vertical frame – traveling particles through various cities identified by their coordinates.
Typography with a strong vertical emphasis is revealed through the upwardly travelling particle system. Personal field recordings of a subway oud player provide a crescendoing soundscape.
